You Still Have Time to Sign Up for QPD Citizen Police Academy

The 2013 Quincy Police Academy registration time is coming September 5. Are you in?

This is a ten week course to learn about what your police department does, and they don't just write out tickets! These men and women of the QPD are here for you, and this class gives you all aspects of the police department with hands-on activities during the sessions.

This is QPD giving you a fast-paced, in-depth look at what your police department does every day. From mock vehicle stops, crime scene investigations and almost everything in between, you will learn what these men and women do everyday for us in Quincy.

But, time is running out to sign up. Class begins Thursday, September 5. Classes meet from 6 to 9 p.m. and most are held at the Quincy City Hall. There is no charge to attend. To find out more, contact the Pro-Act Unit at 217-228-4485.
