The southeast corner of 24th and Broadway in Quincy is taking on a new look as construction crews continue to build the new MedExpress Urgent Care facility. When completed this fall, it will house a 5000 square-foot medical office building featuring 8 examination rooms

According to a recent Herald Whig story, MedExpress has 175 centers across the country serving communities with high quality, affordable and convenient health care. The first MedExpress opened in Morgantown, West Virginia in 2001.

The MedExpress Centers don’t require appointments and the facilities accept most insurance. They also accept walk-in treatment of illnesses and non-emergency injuries along with people in need of basic wellness care.

The lot at 24th and Broadway had previously been occupied by Associated Bank and Daylight Donuts and had been vacant for the past two years.
