The Historic Hannibal Marketing Council's first Veterans Day Freedom 5K is Saturday at 10 a.m., with proceeds to go to improving the Veteran's Memorial in downtown Hannibal.

The Kroger Miracles Relay for Life team hosts a "Basket Lucky," event Saturday at the Pike County Fairgrounds in Bowling Green. Doors open at 6, games starts at 7.

There's a God's Portion Sale & Auction Saturday at the LaGrange United Methodist Church. Lunch is at 11, the sale starts at 1.

A traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings is Saturday 4-6:30 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church & School Cafeteria at 17th & Jefferson in Quincy.

The 40th annual BLP Holiday Gift Show is Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Palmyra High School.

And, the St. John's Lutheran Soup Dinner & Bazaar is Saturday 11-3 in the school gym at 1317 Lyon in Hannibal.
