Weekend Community Calendar For January 18-21

Although most of us will be home and waiting out this snowstorm, if you do make it out here are some events you might want to check out this weekend in the Tri-States.

• The Gem City Kiwanis Breakfast will be held on Saturday, January 19th at Applebee’s in Quincy. The menu includes pancakes, bacon, and your choice of coffee, juice, or water for only $5! Tickets can be purchased from a Gem City "Breakfast" Kiwanis member or at the door the day of the event. Proceeds go to grants that fund programs for children in the community.
• The Quincy Public Library is celebrating Harry Potter this weekend by show two of he movies ( Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets), on Saturday, January 19th starting at 10 AM. There will be an intermission with pizza being served from 12:30 to 1:00 PM. The movie viewing party will be in the large meeting room, bring your pillow and blanket.
