The Hannibal Board of Public Works has cancelled the Water Conservation Warning that has been in effect for the city following lightning damage to the Hannibal Filter Plant during a storm on Sunday night. A Boil Order continues through 1 p.m. on Friday, June 27.

A Facebook post by Hannibal BPW announced that the Hannibal Filter Plant flooded after the lightning strike. The Boil Order for the City of Hannibal was to expire at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, but has been extended through 1 p.m. on Friday, June 27.

The Hannibal Board of Public Works posts all active boil orders on their website.
