The August Lunch in the Park with Quincy Mayor Kyle Moore is set for August 18, 2015.

I'm sure much of the talk will be with the storm that ran through Quincy. There is much to talk about there. Pick the Mayor's brain, see what he thinks will happen.

And don't forget about all the other things going on around Quincy, like the lighting of the Bayview Bridge, the new building going up across from the Kroc Center and of course, getting back to normal with all the things that have been going on for the past few weeks. It has been a lot to deal with. But we have made it through and everything is looking better and better all the time.

So if you see the Mayor, thank him and all the workers that brought Quincy back.

News release on August's Lunch With the Mayor

The August Lunch in the Park with the Mayor is set for August 18 from 12-1 p.m.  in Washington Park, 5^th and Maine Street. This is the final in a series of summer lunches that were scheduled during 2015.

Those attending the August 18 meeting are encouraged to bring their lunch and are reminded of the many fine eating establishments in the Historic Business District that have carry out.  Picnic tables are provided by the Quincy Park District.  Farmers Market will also be taking place that morning in Washington Park.
