As we wrap up the Be Thankful Food Drive on Friday, we thank you all for donating. But just because our food drive is coming to an end doesn't mean you should stop donating. And there are a few items that food pantries are looking for that you might not immediately think of.

You always think about non-perishable food items to donate to a food bank, but there are other items that are needed. Some include baby items (diapers, wipes, baby lotion or powder), toiletries, feminine products, crackers, tortillas, soup packets, are just some of the items to think about donating to food banks.

This time of year the need is more then ever, so while you are out shopping pick up an extra food item and donate it to those in need this holiday season. And remember, you have until Friday to drop off your non-perishable food item to our lobby at 24th and Broadway (behind the Coach House) or at Shottenkirk Toyota 5333 Broadway in Quincy.
