PopCrush is rounding up the Top 40 Pop Songs for the month of July to let you know what’s hot for the second month of summer. We think will be taking Top 40 Pop Songs will be taking over the charts for the month of July 2012, and we’ve ranked these songs based on what’s hot right now, reader favorites, and overall listener reception.

No strangers to our Top 40 Pop Songs list are Katy Perry, Rihanna, and Nicki Minaj, who all hit our top 10 on our countdown last month as well. Perry’s new single ‘Wide Awake’ bumped up to our No. 5 spot for its gain in popularity, while Rihanna and Minaj trailed behind some of their competitors, but still remained in the top 10.

New to our Top 40 Pop Songs list for July 2012 is U.K. singer Jessie J’s new hit song ‘Domino’ as well as Calvin Harris’ new track ‘Lets Go,’ which features an appearance from renowned R&B singer Ne-Yo. Also featured is Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen’s new collaboration ‘Good Time,’ which has been steadily climbing the top 10 on the iTunes charts.
