If your kids brought in WAY too much candy on Halloween night, here's a way to move a lot of it without wasting it or going into a diabetic shock: give it to our deployed troops.

Operation Gratitude is accepting candy donations which will be shipped to our troops overseas. Starting November 1, you can drop off your excess candy at Peters Heating & Air (Broadway location), Yellow Kiss Boutique and Qtown Crossfit.

All you have to do is pull up to any of these locations, find the candy bins, drop off your sweets, and be on your way. Collections run through November 6 at which point Operation Gratitude will send care packages to our troops with candy and other goodies inside.

Operation Gratitude is a charitable non-profit organization that sends care packages to troops throughout the year. They also assist with the needs of our first responders, U.S. military active duty, veterans, and Wounded Hero communities.
