Nationally-acclaimed folk artist and songwriter Tom Chapin will be performing two concerts on February 9th in Hannibal, Missouri as a special kick-off to Bluff City Theater’s 5th Season built around the theme of The American Experience.

Chapin starts his day in Hannibal with a family concert, geared to audiences ages 3 to 13.  Chapin is a three-time Grammy Award winner for his readings of children's stories.  He also entertained kids from 1971 to 1976 when he hosted a Sunday-morning TV series called Make a Wish on ABC.  The family performance starts at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Roland Fine Arts Center on the campus of Hannibal LaGrange University.
 An Evening with Tom Chapin, an all-ages evening performance, featuring his original music as well as folk classics and songs from The Harry Chapin Songbook, begins at 7:30.With 27 albums and 3 Grammys on his resume, Chapin is one of America’s greatest living folk artists.
