This might be the best thing you see all week.

A photo posted on Facebook by Quincy Public School District 172 shows Sasha, a third grader at Lincoln-Douglas, enjoying recess on one of the playground swings. According to the post, Sasha's mom was ecstatic when she heard the school had a swing that her daughter could use.

Finding out from her daughter that the school had a swing that could accommodate Sasha and her wheelchair, Sasha's mother says she "Filed [this] under 'Things that make me cry uncontrollably that shouldn't."

QPS admins describe Sasha as an "incredible, awesome, and smart girl" and "a bright shining example for all of us".

We couldn't agree more. Have a great third grade year, Sasha!

It's nice to see QPS keeping the Quincy community updated on the progress of the new schools and the fun elements each school has to offer.
