I've never been inside the castle on the river, but I do enjoy the view at sunset. It's absolutely stunning.

It's so important to teach our children what veterans have done for us. We a lucky to not only have the Illinois Vets Home close by, but a museum that celebrates what all vets have done for us.

I remember going to the museum in junior high and I thought it was amazing. I haven't been in a while, but again we are fortunate to have this in our community.

I used to live by the mansion and never went on a tour. I would love to see what it looks like inside and take my girls with me.

TripAdvisor needs an update. Sadly, due to funding the museum is no longer open. It had been dedicated to the architect and design of Quincy.

Take in a play (or two), I am looking forward to what Quincy Community Theater is doing for 2018. Rumor has it, that 2018 will be the best year ever.
