If you want to see some of the best high school baseball talent in the are you need to be at Clemens Field in Hannibal Saturday night at 7 p.m. That is when the best of Missouri will square off against the best of Illinois in the first ever Missouri-Illinois Senior's All-Star Baseball game!

Players from Hannibal, Monroe City, Canton, Palmyra, Marion County, Highland, Mark Twain South Shelby, Louisiana, Van Far,Macon and Paris High Schools will make up the "Sho -Me Squad".  Players from Quincy Senior High, Quincy Notre Dame, West Hancock, Payson-Seymour, Western, Liberty, Griggsville-Perry, Pittsfield, Illini West and Central High Schools will comprise the roster for the "Land of Lincoln Squad". The Missouri team will be managed by Mike Crager of Monroe City and Chris Martin of Quincy Notre Dame will manage the Illinois team. All proceeds from the game will go toward the expenses incurred.

Congratulations to all the players involved for being recognized as the best baseball players in the area and hats off to Kevin and Aaron Peters for getting this game put together.  Hopefully this will be an annual event for baseball fans to enjoy for years to come.
