The Annual Kelly’s Fun Run/Walk Sign Up Underway

The Quincy Family YMCA is proud to partner with Kelly’s to bring health, laughter and fun to the Annual Kelly’s Fun Run/Walk coming up on March 11. Kelly’s and the YMCA will host the annual St. Patrick’s Day Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, March 11. This race has been an Irish tradition in Quincy for over 30 years. 

The registration fees are $25 if registered in advance and $30 the day of. You can register online or pick up a registration form at Kelly’s Tavern, or the YMCA located at 3101 Maine Street. The race starts at 9:15 at Kelly’s Tavern on Broadway.

Runners will start first followed by walkers. The course is a 5K and is mostly on Maine Street which is relatively flat with some slight hills. There are fifteen divisions which are divided by age and gender.  Awards will be given in each division.  Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to attend.  Strollers are welcome.

All of the proceeds of the event go to fund the Dolphin Swim Team at the YMCA. The race is sponsored by Kelly’s Tavern, Rinella Company, Tower Pizza & Mexican, Gem City Pizzeria & Mexican and The Abbey.
