The 19th Annual Octoberfest Parade and Field Competition is Set for October 18 in Quincy
The 19th Annual Octoberfest Parade and Field Competition will be held on Saturday, October 18, featuring marching bands from Illinois, Missouri and Iowa. The parade will travel west from 33rd & Maine Streets at 2 p.m. that afternoon. The field competition at Flinn Stadium will begin at 5:15 p.m.
The event is sponsored by the Quincy Public Schools, Friends of the Performing Arts, WGEM-TV and the Quincy Public School Music Department. Admission is $6 with food available for purchase.
Proceeds will benefit the music programs throughout the Quincy Public Schools.
