The 30th Annual St. Patrick’s Parade is this Saturday, March 12, 2016. It will begin at 11 a.m. from 12th and Maine and will go to 5th and Maine Streets where it will conclude. Radio stations are notorious for accumulating "junk." Usually it is promotional items or signage, and the junk is kept for future use and most likely will never be used again. Recently, one of our staff members got energetic and cleaned out the Y101 storage area, and in doing so came across a box. That box ended up in my office with what looks like ping-pong balls in it.

The Harlem Wizards are returning to Baldwin Gym in Quincy to play the area teachers this Saturday, December 6 at 6 p.m. The evening promises to be a fun filled event for both kids and adults.

Don't you just love it when people do things and then won't own up to it? Such is the case this morning after I noticed that the fence around our radio tower at the station parking lot was struck by someone who apparently decided not to say anything and just drive off.

Y101’s 6th annual Load the Lobby campaign is underway and we are asking for your help. Beginning Friday, November 14 and running through December 12, we are asking that you help us Load the Lobby with new or good used toys for the less fortunate children in the area.
