It's not only April, but the last half of April. Tax Day has come and gone. Easter is over. We're just a little over a month away from Memorial Day. And there were snow flurries this morning. What?
The area's first real taste of weather has arrived. Temperatures started out mild, but have fallen below freezing, and a mix of rain and snow has become all snow. 2 - 4 inches of accumulation is predicted for the Quincy/Hannibal area.
The first few days of December, 2012 have been...strange, to say the least, when it comes to the weather. Most of us are not complaining. But as Christmas approaches, I can't help but think that it just won't be right if the temperature doesn't become more seasonable. And what about a white Christmas? Everyone likes a white Christmas, right?
It's beginning to feel a lot like summer. This past weekend was hot, and weather.com is predicting highs in the mid-90's all the way through mid-week.
