The final 2017 "Lunch in the Park" with Quincy Mayor Kyle Moore is set for Wednesday, August 16, from noon to 1 p.m. in Washington Park at 5th and Maine Streets.

The second 2017 Lunch in the Park with Mayor Kyle Moore is set for this Wednesday, July 19, from noon to 1 p.m. in Washington Park at 5th and Maine Street.  This is the second in a series of three summer lunches that have been scheduled during 2017.

Tonight the second installment of the 20th Anniversary of "Blues in the District" will take place as the Catfish Willie Band performs in concert at Washington Park in Quincy.

The Blues in The District will be celebrating its 20th anniversary when the season kicks off this Friday. The 2017 lineup for this year's free concerts will begin with Hurricane Ruth performing Friday night.

This year's Dogwood weekend is set for May 6 and 7, and the theme for this year’s Adams Fiber/Blessing Health System Dogwood Parade is “Community Connections.”

From the category of "Where did the Summer go?", the final Blues of the District concert of the year will be held Friday at Washington Park. Hector Anchondo will perform in the season finale which will put the wraps on season number 19.

Blues in the District resumes tonight when Reverend Raven & The Chain Smokin' Alter Boys take to the stage.

Tonight the second installment of this summer's "Blues in The District" will take place as Dave Weld and the Imperial Flames take to the stage at Washington Park. The park will also be the home of the Quincy Arts Faire tonight through the weekend.

This summer's 19th season of The District’s Blues in the District Concert Series will kick off tonight in Washington Park in Quincy.  Starting off this year’s season tonight will be Katy Guillen & the Girls from Kansas City, Missouri and a finalist in the 2014 International Blues Challenge.
