It's too bad that Halloween can't be celebrated like it used to be when I was a kid. I would spend about a week thinking of just what I was going to wear on that "scary" night and then I would tell my Mom what I needed for my costume. She was good at making costumes.
As a kid, my brother and I made quite a bit of money on snow storms like they had last week on the east coast. We would go door to door and ask homeowners if they would like for us to shovel their driveway or sidewalk.
It's snowstorms like we just got that remind me of my youth growing up in Upstate New York off of Lake Ontario. We would get snows like this all the time and we would still go to school. No I didn't have to walk ten miles uphill either.
