No child should ever awake on Christmas morning without a gift. With that in mind, I came up with an idea 8 years ago called "Load the Lobby". Next Friday at 9 a.m. is the last chance to help the less fortunate kids in the area by “Loading our Lobby” at the Y101 and KICK-FM studios with new or good used toys and books that your children no longer use. Shottenkirk Chevrolet & Shottenkirk Kia of Quincy has announced that the Bikes for Tikes Campaign will return for its 3rd year this December. In the course of the first two years, over 350 bicycles were repaired and recycled, and then distributed to area families in need through the Salvation Army’s Toy Town campaign.

Y101’s 6th annual Load the Lobby campaign is underway and we are asking for your help. Beginning Friday, November 14 and running through December 12, we are asking that you help us Load the Lobby with new or good used toys for the less fortunate children in the area.

Our Load the Lobby campaign will end on December 13. Help us fill up the entire lobby of Y101 and KICK-FM with new or good used toys and books that your children are no longer using.
