Every year, the Muddy River Riders have a fundraiser called "Blessing of the Bikes". The fundraiser usually is in April and all proceeds go toward the purchase of backpacks and school supplies for students in the area.
With the busy school year ahead and shuttling the kids from one activity to another, dinner can usually be a fast food drive thru. However, if you don't want to hit the drive-thru every night Hy-Vee will be holding classes for freezer meals, and they are even healthy too.
Still needing to fill some time of stuff to do this summer? The Hannibal Arts Council's Wild & Wacky Art Adventure, will be holding a FREE arts festival for kids and families, on August 4th. This is a hands-on arts festival for kids ages three to twelve.
