When the World Series Shook
October 17, 2012 I remember it vividly. Al Michaels and Tim McCarver were broadcasting Game Three of the 1989 World Series between the A's and the Giants when all of a sudden the TV went black and all you could hear was Michaels talking. The audio quality went from clear to phone-like and after a few seconds he began to realize that an earthquake had just occurred.
