As we get ready for this year's St. Patrick's Parade, I find myself looking back at the past twenty-eight years of the parade in Quincy.

Today is National Pie Day. One of my co-workers came up to me and asked if I was going to order some pie for dessert, after they had heard me mention it on the air. That question was eventually followed by, "who makes the best pies around here?"

A luncheon will be held on Friday,November 14 at 12 noon at 501 Broadway in Quincy.

The final Y101 Backyard BBQ is this Thursday at Madison Park in Quincy, and it is all free!

This event at Quincy Notre Dame High School is growing every year. The 2014 Raider Classic will be June 28, 2014. It is a 5K and 10K combination road race/cross country race or walk that begins and ends at Quincy Notre Dame High School.
