Quincy Humane Society

Some families might be thinking that the Christmas season might just be the perfect time to ask Santa for a new pet. If you're looking, I'd like to introduce you to "Jackson". Jackson has called the Quincy Humane Society home for 705 days and counting (as of Wednesday, December 6). And he's still looking for his forever home.

Throughout the month of October, the Quincy Humane Society will be highlighting dogs in need of forever homes.

This weekend is filled with some exciting things to check out. Here are just a few highlights to see and do for this weekend...

Grab your dogs (and your superhero costumes) and plan to attend the 23rd annual Mutt Strut on Saturday, September 30th at Wavering Park in Quincy.

If you have dogs that need groomed, then you might want to stop by the Bathe To Save Event going on tomorrow (Saturday).

Quincy Humane Society is giving you an opportunity to get dinner for the family while supporting a good cause during their Dog Days Pizza Special.

In our Sam's Snugglers series, I highlight an animal at the Quincy Humane Society waiting to find his/her forever home. And if you enjoy those videos, you might want to stop by this weekend as many animals will be on display in celebration of the Quincy Humane Society's 137th anniversary.
