Only In Your State

I found this funny, but I'll admit that funny is probably not the right response to a pronouncement made by a major website that Hannibal is one of the coziest towns in Missouri when it comes to winter. Let's explore this.

This is not exactly breaking news to those of us that have lived here a majority of our lives, but it's nice that Hannibal's downtown area has been named one of the 7 best in Missouri.

Who doesn't love a milkshake? Working in an old fashion soda shoppe throughout my high school years, I can't tell you how many milkshakes I made. Whether you like your milkshakes extra smooth, or extra thick, milkshakes are a fun way to stay cool in the summer.

I know it's not "festival season" in the cotton candy, funnel cake, lemon shake-up, BBQ sense. But there are plenty of amazing winter festivals to check out too. And one of them right here in the Gem City was just named the best in the state!

Of course if you have kids in Quincy, you probably know this already.
