A sold out crowd was on hand Saturday night as the Miss Quincy Scholarship Pageant was held at the Oakley Lindsay Center. At the end of the evening the two big winners were Christina Hanna, who was crowned Miss Quincy 2013 by Miss Illinois Megan Ervin, and Kelsey Peters who was crowned Miss Gem City. Both young ladies will be competing for the Miss Illinois competition in Marion, Illinois in June.

Miss Illinois, Megan Ervin joined us for the Y101 morning show on Tuesday. Megan will be appearing at the Miss Quincy pageant next weekend. She also talked to us about her experiences at the Miss America pageant in January in Las Vegas, and told us all about her red dress, which stole the show.

It was Saturday night and the NFL's NFC Semi-Final playoff game was being played between the Green Bay Packers and the San Francisco 49ers. The game was on all of the TV's in the establishment and then it happened. It was something I never thought I would live to see take place but it happened and I actually got to see it.
