What? No Mike Shannon or John Rooney for the World Series?

Do the rest of you feel like I do in that I would like to listen to Mike Shannon and John Rooney do the play-by-play for the World Series on radio instead of Dan Shulman and Orel Hershiser of ESPN Radio? All due respect to the ESPN guys, but they don't know squat about the St

Shame on You, Ryan Braun! The Fans and The Game Deserve Better

With the suspension of Ryan Braun this week by Major League Baseball, get ready for the shoe, or should I say cleats, to fall on several other big stars of the game. The list behind Braun is long and it included Alex Rodriguez, as well. Baseball has a big problem and they have had it since the home run chase of Mark McGuire and Sammy Sosa back in 1998.

So What Has Been The Happiest Moment of Your Life?

I was watching the CBS News at 5:30 Monday night when they had a story about this guy who tweeted to a few thousand "tweetees" (for lack of a better term) a question of "What has been the happiest moment of your life?" Baseball Needs to Return the All-Star Game to Being an Exhibition Game…Without ‘Meaning’

The Major League Baseball season has reached the midway point of its season with the 2013 All Star Game on tap tonight in New York at Citi Field, the home of the New York Mets.  A few years ago it was determined that the winner of this game between the American League All-Stars and the National League All-Stars would gain the home field advantage in October's World Series. When that decision was made, I was against the idea and I still am today.

Who Do You Think is The Cardinals MVP as of Today?

Major League Baseball consists of a schedule of 162 games with 81 of them scheduled to be played at home.  It is a long season and usually there are a couple of milestone times during the season when people stop and take a look at where teams are.  One of those is Memorial Day and the other is the Fourth of July.  I thought I would make a third stopping point at the first day of summer.
