Insure.com has decided to rank the "rudest drivers" in America. They've taken into account all fifty states and the District of Columbia. Between Illinois, Missouri and Iowa, our area drivers are all over the map on this list. One state ranks as pretty rude, one is right dead center in the middle, and the other is not quite as rude.

State Fair Attendance Down in Illinois and Iowa

Attendance at the Illinois and Iowa State Fairs showed declines from the previous year. The main culprit for the decline was rainy weather in the Midwest, which affected several days of the fairs in Springfield and Des Moines.

WalletHub is always sending out results of various surveys they've conducted, which rank states and cities in all sorts of categories from "best places for families" to "best places to start a business." They have also released their list of "safest states to live in" for 2014. Illinois and Iowa both made the top 10, but Missouri came in near the bottom.
