It is getting warm out there which means time to get out of the house and sweat! The Hannibal Parks and Recreation Department has several fun events coming up to help you enjoy your summer!

It happens every spring. Time to get out of the house and get fit! You can do this. The Hannibal Parks and Recreation will get you in shape before you know it. They have many ways to get you moving into spring and summer.

The Hannibal Parks and Recreation Department is reminding everyone that their snowman contest is coming to a close. Entrants have been encouraged to send in pictures of the snowman that have been built.

Keeping your kids entertained - especially when they're out of school during the summer months - can get very expensive very quickly, so it's nice that many of our area organizations offer several fun and free things for kids to do. One of the popular summer events that the Hannibal Parks and Recreation Department sponsors is Movies in the Park, a movie series that returns on May 30.

The Hannibal Parks and Recreation Department will again this year host the Pumpkins in the Park pumpkin decorating contest in Nipper Park on Hannibal's riverfront. The contest will be October 27 from 3 - 5 p.m.

Today's forecast mentions a slight chance of getting our first snowfall of the year. If and when we do get the first blanket of snow the Hannibal Parks and Recreation Department will be ready to begin the Hannibal Snowman Building Contest which will go on throughout the winter until the end of February.
