Guinness Book of World Records

I don't think I love anything enough to have more than 34,000 versions of it. One Wisconsin man obviously does love something that much as he's now eaten 34,128 Big Macs to extend his own standing world record.

It seems like anything can be a world record these days, there are five weird and wacky world records held by Illinoisans that you would never think could be recorded.

It was a morning in 1986 when I was working at 99-Q Radio with Dennis Oliver. He was just finishing up his morning show and I was beginning my mid-day stint (after working the morning show on WTAD earlier that morning). It was about a week before St. Patrick’s Day and I went up to D.O. and said we need to have a St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Quincy.
