Gnats

There are few things in life worse than being bitten by these nasty pests. I'm talking about the truly awful blood-sucking gnats that are known by many names. They're returning to Missouri and Illinois just in time for the warmer weather.

I thought that when the winter weather was as bad as it was, including 9 below zero, that maybe the pesky gnats of last summer would have died and would be a non-factor this summer. Boy was I wrong.

Don't we have a pack with the gnats, we don't bother them and they don't bother us? We should.

Here we are, three days away from July, and I still haven't been able to enjoy sitting outside on a summer night thanks to those pesky gnats. All the rain from past weeks has made it almost impossible to enjoy being outside now because of these insects.
