You intend to quickly check a news site to skim the latest headlines, and before you know it you've spent twenty minutes reading half-a-dozen stories. Or you need to see if a Facebook message has been responded to, and you get distracted for half an hour by all the new stuff that's appeared in your news feed since the last time you logged on. </p>
