The Coronavirus Crisis has claimed another event casualty as this years Dogwood Parade has been postponed.

Two distinguished community leaders will be honored at the Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting and Business Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony .

The Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce is offering a new Business Plan Grant Program with the eventual winner getting $10-thousand to assist with their business start-up.

The Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce, organizers for the parade, also select winners of awards for Dogwood Parade floats.

It is almost that time of year, a time when the family and friends pile into the family car and drive through the incredible Avenue of Lights.  Beginning Thanksgiving night, November 28, and running through January 1, the  Avenue of Lights will take over the Wavering/Moorman Park complex with more than 350 separate pieces and over 15 miles of lights.
