The Fourth of July is not far away, which means there will be a lot of fireworks displays in the coming weeks! Here is the information we have, so far, on where you can see fireworks in Quincy, Hannibal, and the surrounding area.

The Adams County Health Department will once again be offering flu shots. Flu vaccines are available during regular Immunization Clinic hours which are Mondays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The flu shots will also be available Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Get ready for an onslaught of re-openings of restaurants around the area.  It got started with the re-opening of O'Shea's Restaurant and Bar on Monday after months of renovation following a recent fire. Boogaloo's Steakhouse, formerly Jorge the Crooks has opened this week as well following interior work that includes an elevator .

We have had some time to absorb what took place on election day.  Quincy will have a new Mayor when Kyle Moore takes over from John Spring. Apparently, Mr. Moore was more successful than John Spring was in getting people to vote. Had more people gone to the polls, would the result have been different? Who knows?!
