Boy Scouts

Imagine this. You've just experienced a horrific train crash. What's the first thing you do? If you're this group of Boy Scouts, you spring to action and immediately begin helping those injured and in some cases killed. In other words, heroes.

If you need donuts (and who doesn't), you need to find a scout this Saturday morning and packs in both Palmyra and Monroe City will have gobs of donuts available.

After two years of pandemic life, the Boy Scouts have their summer camps returning this year with several exciting opportunities for kids.

This week I had the pleasure of talking with David Lane and David Gilbert about the opportunities provided by the local Boy Scouts. Those opportunities are endless.

Boy Scout Troop #43 has recently been formed in Mendon, Illinois and is chartered by St. Edward's Church.  It has been a number of years since there has been an active Boy Scout Troop in the Mendon/Ursa area.
