The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Mark Twain Lake is soliciting for summer student employment for the 2014 recreation season. Students hired will be required to begin work at the completion of the Spring 2014 semester and work until the beginning of the Fall 2014 semester.
In response to National Weather Service forecasts predicting the potential for major flooding in areas along the Upper Mississippi and Illinois rivers and their tributaries, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, activated its Emergency Operations Center.
