The seventh season of Music Under the Stars, the Mark Twain Museum-sponsored free summer concert series, kicks off May 30 with Steppin’ Back.

Steppin’ Back will perform 60s, 70s and 80s tunes for the sixth consecutive year at Music Under the Stars. Members are Jim Phillips, Greg Asmussen, Gentry Youse, Paul Lewellen and Chloe Anderson-Lovelace and many have played in local bands as far back as 1963.

The performance begins at 7 p.m. in front of the Boyhood Home. Hannibal Chamber of Commerce will sell a choice of steak sandwiches, burgers, chips and desserts and Main Street Wine Stoppe will sell drinks. This week there will be a drawing for several Music Under the Stars tshirts.
