St. Louis Woman Dead After Mishap at Lake of the Ozarks

A jet-ski mishap results in the death of a woman from St. Louis.  The Missouri State Patrol says the fatal event happened at the Lake of the Ozarks around 2:15 p.m. Saturday.

Troopers say 37-year-old Candice Robinson was a passenger on a jet ski operated by 24-year-old Andrea Robinson. The watercraft was traveling over waves which caused Candice Robinson to lose her balance and plunge into the water.

Another vessel arrived on the scene and assisted with getting Robinson from the water.  However, she then collapsed and had to be taken to an area hospital. She was pronounced dead at 3:15 p.m.
