Have you been watching the current season of 'The Biggest Loser' on NBC? One of the Top 3 finalists is from Springfield, Illinois. 

Sonya Jones is a 40-year-old P.E. teacher that will go be competing for $250,000 in Thursday's season finale. Jones is a former All-American softball player who joined 20 other former athletes for this season, entitled 'The Biggest Loser: Glory Days.'

According to NBC, Jones was born in Springfield and grew up in Litchfield. She played fast-pitch softball at Greenville College. Her starting weight on the show was 283 pounds, and she has lost over 100 pounds during the season. Jones was recently profiled in a photo shoot for Us Weekly.

Another Top 3 finalist, Toma Dobrosavljevic, is also an Illinois resident. Dobrosavljevic is from Addison. 26-year-old Rob Guiry of Holmdel, New Jersey is the third finalist competing for the title of 'Biggest Loser.'

The 'Biggest Loser' finalists will weigh in for the final time on Thursday, January 29. The show airs at 7 p.m. CT on WGEM NBC.
