So What Is The Story Behind This ‘Ornament’?

Believe it or not, I do spend some time away from the radio station.  The other day I ventured out and took a drive around and also took some time to look around my surroundings. What I found was quite interesting as you can see from the picture above.

I didn't even recognize it as being there until I looked up for some reason. It was one of those moments where you just have to take a picture of it which I did. The people around me must have thought i was nuts, but it had to be done!  I couldn't  walk by without sharing this photo with others.

There must be quite a story behind this "ornament light fixture" but I, for one, have absolutely no idea what that story is.  Perhaps you do!
