Jeff Dorsey

Jeff “The Big Dog” Dorsey was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.  He moved from the big city to Rome, New York where he attended school through his Junior year of High School.  He and his family moved to the Kansas City area where he attended his senior year of high school.  He later graduated from Longview College where he was the Captain of the school’s baseball team. From there he began his broadcasting career at KIEE-FM, which became KCFX, The Fox, in Kansas City.  He later joined WTAD Radio and KHQA-TV in Quincy. He then worked at WGEM-Am-Fm and TV before returning to WTAD.  In 2001, the opportunity to reunite with long time friend and fellow broadcaster, Dennis Oliver, came about. He has been at the station for 11 years teaming up with Dennis to form the D.O and the Big Dog team.
