Turn your Blue Monday around, see how.
Happy Monday, or is it? Did you survive the snow and colder temps this weekend? Here we are another Monday. Some of you might have the day off from work or school, but some, like myself, are working on what may seem not like a normal Monday.
Yes, today we celebrate one of the bravest men in history Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., but if you’re feeling a little bluer then usually today, there is a reason for that, hello “Blue Monday.” According to a British psychologist, Dr. Cliff Arnall, by this time of the year your bills from all your Christmas shopping are coming in, you might have given up on your New Year’s Resolution, and gloomy weather all seem to happen around this this of month.
However, you can ,make today a good one. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr said, “I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great of a burden to bear,” show love today. Make your Blue Monday not so blue. There are several Tri-State events that you can spread love to today, in honor of King. So as King said "stick with love," and maybe it will turn your blue Monday around.
