An interesting piece of legislation has been proposed by Washington (State) Attorney General Bob Ferguson. Ferguson has proposed that the State of Washington raise the state's legal smoking age from 18 to 21. The measure would also put the legal age for purchasing and possessing tobacco and nicotine-vapor products on an equal footing with the state's minimum drinking age of 21. Ferguson says the goal is to restrict access to teens and lower healthcare expenses. If this passes, it could be the start of things nationwide. Would you like to see Illinois, Iowa or Missouri do likewise?  So I ask, is this a good idea or not?
