There will be some interesting things on the ballot in November around our great country. None more interesting than what Californians will be voting on. A controversial plan to divide California into three jurisdictions will be on the ballot on November 6th. If passed, California would be divided into three separate states.  Many people there feel they would be best represented and served by doing just that. Some feel three states will provide better infrastructure, better education and lower taxes. It

got me to thinking about Illinois.  How many times have we all heard the comment, "Chicagoland gets everything and downstate nothing". Well, if California does it, why not Illinois?

Wouldn’t that be interesting? So what do you think? Would Illinois be better off splitting up into halves or thirds like California may do?
