Rumors are rampant that Jennifer Lopez will not return to American Idol next season. Men are weeping as we speak.

During an appearance on the "Today Show" this morning, the star herself seemed to indicate it's not a rumor. She says that she loved the show so much but she would like to take time to do other things that have been put on hold the past few years because of "Idol". Some "Idol" watchers suspect that Jennifer's indecision about weather or not to return to "Idol" is part of a ploy to land a larger salary for next season. Wish I could do that. Will she or won't she. We will see what we will see.
