Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Special Is Set

The Saturday Night Live crew is gonna throw one heck of a party on February 15, 2015.

The NBC network has invited past and present cast members and musical guests to be part of the fun as they celebrate 40 years of the hit show. NBC Chairman Bob Greenblatt said the special is just one of many ways SNL will celebrate the historic 40th season. According to NBC, Saturday Night Live is the most nominated show in the history of the Emmy Awards, and it continues to be a ratings winner for the network, "Saturday Night Live was inducted into the Broadcasting Hall of Fame by the National Association of Broadcasters and continues to bring in the highest ratings of any late night television program."
