Santa’s Taking the Train From Quincy to Macomb (And You Can Join Him!)

Santa is of course known for his magical reindeer-powered sleigh, but that’s not the only way he tours the tri-states. Earlier we announced that he’s hitching a ride with the Quincy Fire Department on a fire truck for his annual Quincy Mall residency. Now he’s boarding the local Amtrak for a railway trip to Macomb…and you can join him!

Santa will be taking the Carl Sandburg from Quincy to Macomb on the evening of December 1. To celebrate, Amtrak will be decorating train cars and providing cookies and milk to those in attendance. Once in Macomb, you can check out their annual “Dickens On The Square” holiday festival. The train returns to Quincy later that evening.
