Australia-based Christian music artist Phil Laeger is bringing his talents to Quincy for an evening of worship. The concert, to be held in the Worship Theater of The Salvation Army Kroc Center, will take place at 5 p.m. this Sunday, April 3.The Kroc Center invites the community to this free concert, which will feature two hours worth of Phil Laeger’s inspirational work. Though there is no charge for admission to the performance, freewill donations are encouraged.

Laeger, originally from Atlanta, is a singer-songwriter and worship leader who has released seven albums with his band TransMission for The Salvation Army USA Southern Territory. Laeger’s music was recently used at The Salvation Army’s 150th anniversary celebration in London.

In addition to the seven albums released with his band, Laeger has also released five solo albums, the latest of which is entitled River. The album is a modern classical piano/strings soundtrack that follows the journey of a river from its source to the ocean.
