Singer, songwriter, actor and Grammy winner Rick Springfield is coming to St. Louis for "an intimate solo performance of music and storytelling."

Tickets are on sale now for 'Rick Springfield Stripped Down,' which will begin at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 21. Prices range from $45 - $75.

'Rick Springfield Stripped Down' began touring in 2013. According to RickSpringfield.com, "The fan response from the solo performances, which include music along with storytelling and an interactive Q&A session, has been overwhelmingly positive."

Fun facts about Rick Springfield:

  • While he has had a number of Top 40 hits, 'Jessie's Girl' is Rick Springfield's only Number One song (to date), and his performance on 'Jessie's Girl' won him his only Grammy.
  • Rolling Stone named Springfield's book, 'Late, Late at Night' to its list of 'The 25 Greatest Rock Memoirs of All Time.'
  • Rick Springfield was the first actor to portray the character Nick Knight, an 800-year-old vampire. Springfield played the character in the television movie 'Nick Knight,' which was later remade into the series 'Forever Knight.'
  • Springfield was also the first actor to portray Christopher Chance, the Human Target, on TV. The series, based on the character from DC Comics, ran for seven episodes in 1992. In 2010, a new 'Human Target' series debuted on Fox.
  • Springfield will be honored in 2014 with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
