Get ready for an onslaught of re-openings of restaurants around the area.  It got started with the re-opening of O'Shea's Restaurant and Bar on Monday after months of renovation following a recent fire. Boogaloo's Steakhouse, formerly Jorge the Crooks has opened this week as well following interior work that includes an elevator .

In a few weeks, Sprouts Restaurant is expected to be re-opening after their major fire from last summer.  The Bailey House Restaurant in Camp Point will soon be reopening as well following a blaze that closed it down months ago.  It doesn't stop there, as The Pear Tree Restaurant in Bevier, Missouri will soon be re-opening after their fire but not in Bevier.  The new Pear Tree Restaurant will be opening in Macon, Missouri instead.

Two other restaurant locations in Quincy are possibly opening soon.  The news came out last week that Kutter's Restaurant and Bar on the riverfront has a new owner from Macomb and with remodeling operations going on now, will soon be opening as well. That leaves Johnny Bang Bangs, formerly Backwaters.  Rumours are a still persisting that a Tilted Kilt will be going into that location.

Needless to say, if you like to eat out you will have additional choices in the days and weeks ahead.
